Moray Firth Dolphins 0 v 32 North Lanarkshire Rams

The Rams travelled the high road to Inverness for their second game of the season. Once again the runners up to last years Scottish Champions jumped out on top early and forced three quick turnovers. Twelve points were soon put on the board with two successful passes from Martin Wallace to David O'Rouke.

In the second quarter the Dolphins defense put up a valiant effort to reduce the Rams control of the game. A dash into the endzone by Paul Gallagher brought the first half to a close with the Rams in the lead 18 - 0.

The third quarter was a stalemate with neither team gaining any points. Gallagher once again powered his way to another six points in the fourth, with the conversion run in by O'Rourke. Alan Davidson returned an interception sealed a convincing 32 - 0 victory for the Rams.

Glasgow Tigers 28 v 6 Inverclyde Sharks

After suffering two heavy defeats the Tigers roared into action in the second quarter with the first two points of the game from a safety awarded for the joint effort of Ryan Hunter and David Thompson. The Wilson brothers notched up the next six points when QB Craig hit Kyle in the numbers with a 60-yard pass. A Dean Jardine secure the extra points ending the first half 12-0 to Glasgow.

Again in the third quarter the Hunter / Thompson combination sacked the punter for another safety.

The Sharks bite was felt in the fourth quarter. An eighty-yard run by Darren Banks and a conversion from Martin McAlonan put the Inverclyde outfit just four points behind the Tigers. A 20-yard pass to from Craig Wilson to Ryan Hunter notched up a further six for Glasgow. The game ended 28 - 8 to the Tigers with another Wilson pass to new boy James McIntosh, and a conversion kicked by Dean Jardine.
