Final:
Inverclyde Raiders 32 v 19 PA Knights

Scottish side Inverclyde Raiders got back to winning ways securing their second tournament win of the season. They posted their intentions in the first game when they blew past the MK Pathfinders, the only side to beat them this year, in their pool game. The Pathfinders still collected their fourth point in the season's rankings to maintain their position as one of the favourites for the playoffs.

PA Knights continued to impress in the second pool as they went through undefeated and overcoming the powerful Yorkshire Rams to face the Raiders in the final. The match up proved to be a tremendous game of power, pace and skill, with the Raiders eventually coming out 32 - 19 winners to seal their second crown. As consolation, PA's John Hatcher walked away with the tournament MVP in what was his debut appearance for the Knights.

The BYAFA five on five junior-kitted tournament got underway at Milton Keynes this weekend and proved to be a huge success with a fine display of under 16 football from some very well organised sides. The future stars of British football displayed their skills for the first time in a BYAFA tournament with Scotland's Inverclyde Raiders sweeping all before them in some very competitive games. The Raiders made a weekend of the competition, coming down from Scotland on the Saturday and taking over a scout hut for the evening before claiming their crown.

The teams return to face each other at the Festival of Football II, once again held in conjunction with Redditch Arrows in June at Kings Norton Rugby Club.
