People With Disabilities

Young people, or adults, with disabilities or impairment, may be at increased risk of abuse. Various factors contribute to this, such as stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination, isolation and a powerlessness to protect them, or adequately able to communicate. All within the BYAFA must avoid discriminating against those with disabilities.
