The Warriors eased their way into second place in the English Conference with this victory over the Exiles, but were only a matter of seconds from having the game taken from them. Inept game day management resulted in the home side failing to supply the mandatory ambulance and then refuse to exchange rosters. Had the problems not been resolved the London side would have found themselves on the end of a game awarded against them and ejected from any play-off possibility.
On the pitch the Warriors were their normal ruthless selves and opened the scoring on the first play. A Jerome Allen pass hit Juma Woodhouse from fully forty yards for the wide out to claim the first six points. With the conversion being good they were 8 - 0 ahead within the first minute.
A brace of two yard runs either side of the first and second periods plus a conversion extended the lead by a further fourteen and leave the Warriors cruising ahead at 22 - 0. An Oli Gould fifty yard scoring bomb to Tom Taylor and a successful two point kick gave the Exiles a glimmer of hope, narrowing the deficit to 22 - 8
Just before the half came to a close Devar Gayle scored on a fifty-seven yard run and with the conversion again being good the Londoners reigned supreme at 30 - 8 at the half.
Third quarter scores by Emmanuel Mukoro on a twenty-five yard grab followed by a Gayle twelve-yard burst pushed the score out to 42 - 8 as the Warriors took a stranglehold on the game.
Matthew Russell caught a short pass and turned up field running through the Exiles' defense for an eighteen yard score and then Andrew Linton completed the route on a one-yard blast up the middle.
The result means the Warriors and Exiles exchange places in the conference, with the Kent side slipping to third spot but by no means out of the play-off picture.
