Kent Exiles 0 v 33 Bristol Aztecs

The Exiles completed their regular season with a solid victory against an Exile side who remain one of the most improved around. Adam Stenlake from five yards opened the scoring in the first quarter and Nick Proctor from seven put the West Country side into the lead with Will Parkhouse kicking the extra points on both occasions as they raced to a 16 – 0 lead.

The Exiles tightened up their defense in the second with only a Seth Williams sack in the end zone for a safety and a Parkhouse field goal between the sides as the visitors stretched their lead to leave them 21 – 0 clear at the half way mark

Lawrence Cult grabbed a short pass in the third and sped into the end zone from thirty yards out as the Aztecs put the game beyond doubt. The quarter closing with the visitors in a commanding 27 - 0 lead.

With the game clock down to the final four minutes Laurence Cult collected a punt from forty-five yards out and blasted it back for a score which did not reflect how well the Exiles had once again played.

Both teams can now concentrate on the post season. The Aztecs have to face conference champions the London Olympians at Bristol for the right to meet the winners of the Tigers v Hawks clash in the north. The Exiles will travel to Bath in the hope of defeating the home side Cardinals and go to the Plate Final for the second successive year.
