Clyde Valley Falcons 34 v 2 PA Knights

In their semi final the Falcons eased past last year’s defending champions PA Knights, late replacements for injury-ravaged Sussex Thunder. William Winter hit Colin Nichol in the end zone from twenty-five yards to open the score. Blake Kyle added a further six points as he danced into the end zone and converted the extra two when he blasted in from the five. Kyle snared another Winter pass from long distance to claim another score and leave the Northern Conference Champions in a commanding 20 – 0 before the game Knights could barely draw breath. In a game he almost dominated by himself, Kyle force a fumble with a crunching hit which allowed Nichol to scamper into the end zone from short range. Winter hauled in the pass extra two point pass to stretch the lead to 28 – 0 as the Falcons eased themselves home. Nichol grabbed a wayward pass to run the ball back for a score only for the Knights’ Seb Phillips to grab the extra two-point attempt and dart the length of the field to record their only score of the game.
