A Shand thirty-five yard run and a Burns short distance grab pushed the Glasgow side out to a twelve point lead at the half only for Tim Carter to power his way behind some fierce blocking and quarterback leads to tie the scores in the second. With Alan Stein hitting Andrew Burns first from twenty-yards and then Burns sliding low to his left to hold onto another Stein pass the Tigers held on for an a well earned victory in yet another memorable game which the driving rain could not dampen.
